The story
Max, Tiko, and Lulu are on a mission to find the biggest banana in the jungle. When the sneaky Capuchin Bandits try to beat them to it, Max comes up with a bold idea: a jungle race.
With help from Percy, the wise old parrot, the friends swing through trees, dodge obstacles, and dash toward adventure. When things take an unexpected turn, Max realizes that true adventure isn’t just about winning. It’s about teamwork, kindness, and making new friends along the way.
Will they find the golden banana?
It’s a read-aloud for ages 1–7 about friendship, problem-solving, and sharing, and the book includes jungle-themed coloring pages at the end. The series site also has free coloring pages of Max, Lulu, Tiko, Percy, and the whole cast.
About the author
Dave Wilson is a storyteller at heart, first creating bedtime adventures for his two sons. Inspired by their excitement, he turned those stories into books to share with children everywhere. He hopes Max’s adventures bring as much joy to young readers as those cherished tales brought to his own family 20 years ago.
